The Karate Kid

When I was in 4th grade, I remember always watching them old martial arts films and always like to reenact the moves they did in the scene it was exciting for me to watch as it was to do. I remember telling my parents that I wanted to be a martial artists or karate kid and for my 9th birthday they enrolled me into a  karate class. It was so exciting I was very nervous, because I wanted to be good at what I was learning and didn't want to slow the class down as the taught me karate. At first I was doing well i thought I was doing great at what I was doing, but really I was just like any younger white belt slow and sloppy. I had no balance and I really just didn't get into when I younger and it wasn't until 8th grade I understood what made class so fun. When I began I always thought to be the best, which being rude thinking you were the best in the class and having enemies which was no fun at all, but as soon as it hit me that I was not the best I decided to be more friendly and having fun conversations with people in my class, and at moments before a match get a little cocky just to tease one another and it was fun and I enjoyed it a lot. After all that trouble was clear and out of the way I decided to work on the most important part of martial arts getting a black belt it was so important to me to earn this I was ready and prepared to earn it but I had a little while before I earned that. I decided to train and work hard on my flexibility and lose a little weight because i was a bit big and it would have been hard for me if I was big but I started running and before I knew I lost 20 pounds and am about 2 feet from doing a full stretch and it is amazing. When it came to senior project that is where I got the idea of becoming a black belt because I knew that would be amazing and I knew that would be a great stretch for me and that I would dedicated to this, and I earned the black belt fair and square and presented my project to the judges and they seem impressed by it. I'm glad to have earned this belt, it had been a long journey and I think it was a great end for me.

Elementary life

Going to Wittenberg elementary I learned a lot of things such as responsibility, friendship, and a little about life as we progress through the years of school. When I started Kindergarten, I was a trouble maker, it was tough  for me to keep still and to keep quite. I was very hyper because I was under AD/HD, so some teachers had a hard time dealing with that, yet most thought I was adorable, because I have hair like an angel and smile no one could resist. It was nice to know I had an advantage at school because I just worked my charm and out of trouble I was. However that didn't work until 2nd grade, because when I was in 1st and kindergarten, I was adorable and they thought that too, but they tried to control me and somewhat they succeeded, but I didn't control myself until 4th grade. When I was in Kindergarten I made friends, I loved to go to their houses after school for thing called play time. It was nice and fun and that kept my spirit high at school was doing things like that. The thing I remember a lot about elementary school was trying to stay on everyone's good side at school, I usually failed with the teacher but not with the students, I was never hated by any students or teacher's I was just there.

One thing I loved most about elementary school was that we usually went on school trips and that was fun, I never did care for doing single-file lines and put your index finger to your mouth as you go to a through a museum and that was the worst part for me but yet there is still a lot of fun trips we did such as going to see the cirque du soleil, I was just amazed with the things they did and laughed at the elephants when they came because the clean up people were not to happy about the clean up part and I also found the clowns funny even though I did have a fear of them when I was young, but I conquer that fear pretty quick after laughing at their performance, and I couldn't forget the man in the canon that was exciting because I was scared the man would shoot out of the tent and be dead, but luckily that didn't happen. That was my favorite trip, but I also loved going to camp Thunderbird it was exciting it was the first time I went camping and I went zip lining as well it was scary going up the stair to do it, but I always like to do things with height because it's dangerous and I like to conquer dangerous things in my path and it was amazing, I felt like I was flying and I never felt more alive, that was probably one of the exciting things I have ever done. I went to camp Thunderbird when I was in 5th grade and that was the last time I went camping.

Those were the best times In my elementary school time, because it taught me to responsibility because on those trips you had to be well behaved and I did the best I could on those trips so that I could go on another. I also learned to respect the adult's around me because they will  give me the guidance to become an adult as I get older in the world. I also learned that friendship was important, because it is nice to have someone to talk to and share stories with. I will always remember elementary school and it is for those reasons, and if I could relive anything in my life it would be that.

Life of Spencer

I was born in Phoenix Arizona on Jan 08, 1995 at exactly 9:45 p.m. I moved Hickory, North Carolina and live from the age of 2 to the age of 6 then I moved to Bethlehem from age 6 to etc. I went to Wittenberg elementary for school when I was young. I remember being one of the trouble makers of the school, I usually got my apple pulled which was a bad thing and you had to go to timeout when you got the apple pulled five times times, I usually got timeout everyday it was pretty hard for me to keep quite, now I'm well behaved and ordinary. It was difficult to learn how to behave but I learned overtime and now I feel like i'm ready to take on the challenges that are to come in my future.
