High School is something that gets us ready for the future, did it prepare me no but it doesn't mean I didn't have any fun. My freshmen year I started out a bit shy but I worked my way out of tht area and just tried to be more outgoing, it was the first year I did a school sport which was track the only sport you don't have to try out for so I was happy that I made the team, I did shot put i wasn't that bad at it and I not going to lie it was good for a freshmen and for a begginer. I also got more involed with my martial arts class trying to get a black belt which I thought was impossible to get. I also made new friends and really enjoyed my freshmen year.
My Sophmore year, was an ok year it was the year I started hanging out with some friends more often and was working on doing good in my classes. Now this was the last year I had bad grades which is good for me I always hated bad grades and as soon as my sophmore year was over, I never had a bad grade again.I think what helped with that was the fact that I went to Sylvan learning center and that was a great experience for me really learned a lot there and I will never forget that, it was bad at firstbecause I was the only one there who was pass 6 feet other than the teachers, while the others were like 5 feet or shorter, which made it a bit odd for me but I ignored that and continued to try my best, and I feel like I succeeded, and i can't ever thank them enough for what they have done for me. Another cool thing that happen my sophmore year was going to New York on a band trip which was fun, I went up to the Empire state building which was amazing and I was brave looking down the building, but I didn't throw anything down or something bad would happen and that would have ruined the trip. All in all I did enjoy my sophmore year as well.
My Jr. year, was the year I got motivated for my my black belt, I was ready to get it and I would have done anything to get it. The first thing that came to mind was my Research Paper which i made a 100 on, and I decided to do mine on martial arts and the safties of it which was exiciting because I could dig deep into the world of karate and learn what could help. One of the things I decided to do was to drop 25 pounds which was actually easier then I thought it was going to be, I just ate right and ran a lot, and before I knew it I was taller and was looking good, and the even nicer thing was losing my braces and having a nice smile and enjoy taking school pictures. My Jr. year was probably the first year i had a good picture for the yearbooks and I couldn't have been happier. It was a good year but it wasn't the best year after are band teacher Mr. Ingold died it was a tragic event for all the students including myself and I felt bad for his family I knew him and he was a good friend of mine but I couldn't imagine of how they felt, it was the let down of the year for me and I really wish that never happen, but I learned and I hoped others learned that it's life things happen even if you don't want it to, you just got to learn how to deal with it and hope for the best. My Jr. year was the year I liked because I learned a new language and made a lot of other achievements, but it was also the year I hated as well.
Now I would write about my senior year but im just halfway through it and would want to wait for the rest of this year to come and go before I start writting about it, but I leave details of it so far. I love this year so far moving quick and I'm doing good as well and I hope that everyone else is enjoying theirs as well. I first off passed my senior project so no more worries about that I am done with that and can sort of rest knowing I did a good job, I also got my black belt this year which is a great accomplishment and couldn't have it anyother way. I think the only problem this year is band it has a little to do with Mr. Ingold not being there, but some of the people there make me uncomfortable, but I want go into detail there, but I think all in all this is my favorite year so far.
